Upon completion of the MSAc program graduates are eligible to take their national board examinations.
New Jersey Acupuncture License Requirements
Upon completion of the MSAc program (and completion of a bachelor鈥檚 degree independent of your acupuncture education) graduates may take their NJ State board examination.
In New Jersey, a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) is not considered a primary care practitioner, however, L.Ac.'s can practice independently. The scope of practice is outlined in New Jersey's Administrative Code 13:35-9.12 SCOPE OF PRACTICE.
